OpenSRS(TUCOWS)のドメイン
質問のドメイン名のDNSが ns1.renewyourname.net と ns2.renewyourname.net に置き換わっている。これは、ドメインの期限が切れたのでレジストラのOpenSRS(TUCOWS)がちゃっかりDNS情報を書き換えたため。
どうやら昨年の10月からこういう方式になったみたい。

1. New Processing Procedure for Expired Domains

Beginning today, 19 October 2005, the processing of expired domains
under the TLDs .com, .net, .org, .info, .biz, .name .cc and .tv
will be changed.The DNS settings for expired domains will be replaced with
the Tucows hostname ns1.renewyourname.net and
ns2.renewyourname.net.The original DNS settings for the expired names will be stored
and will be restored when the registrant renews their
domain.During a transfer away, the previous nameservers will not be
restored. The registrant will need to provide the nameservers
information to their new provider.All other WHOIS data will remain the same.
このやり方はOpenSRS扱いの期限が切れたドメインを全部OpenSRSが確保してしまうことになるのであんまり褒められたことではないのだけど、ドロップキャッチを防ぐのには一定の効果はあるとも言える。
こういう目に遭った人はOpenSRSの登録業者に相談することになる。
期限が1年延びたように見えるのはドメイン名削除間際によく見られる現象だけど、この場合はOpenSRSが自分で確保しちゃったから結果として延びたのでしょう。期限切れのドメイン名でもOpeｎSRS系のリセラー同士で移管することができるらしいからかなりヤクザな状態にも思える。

2番目は金を払ってないからドメインを止められたのに何で厳しい調子で問い合わせなきゃならんのか不明。
